St. Anastasia the Deliverer from Potions
Anastasia was a noblewoman of Rome taught the faith by St. Chrysogonus. She spent her wealth visiting and feeding Christians in prison, washing their wounds and buying their release. She followed Chrysogonus to Aquileia and was burned at the stake at Sirmium in Pannonia. She is called Pharmakolytria, the deliverer from potions, because she freed people from poisons and spells.
