St. Arsenios of Cappadocia
Theodore Annitsalis was a monk and priest who served the Greek villages of Farasa in Cappadocia for fifty years as teacher, healer and father. He read Psalms over the sick, Christians and Muslims alike, and many were healed. In 1924 he led his flock to Greece in the population exchange and died on Corfu forty days later. Shortly before leaving he baptized a baby named Arsenios, the future St. Paisios.
