St. Lawrence of Chernigov

Luke Proskura was a village choir director who became a monk at the Trinity monastery in Chernihiv. In the Soviet years, when the monastery was closed, he gathered a secret community and later reopened it during the war. He had the gift of prophecy, and many came to him for guidance. He was glorified in 1993.
