St. Theodora of Thessaloniki
Theodora was born on Aegina and fled to Thessaloniki when Arabs raided the island. After her husband died she became a nun at the convent of St. Stephen and lived there for decades in obedience. Her daughter became abbess of the same convent. After her repose her relics streamed myrrh, and the city has honoured her ever since.
