Discourses Against the Arians
St. Athanasius the Great · image, CC0
St. Athanasius goes through the verses the Arians used to make the Son a creature and answers each one. The Son is the Father's own Word, eternal with Him, and became man for our sake.
It is long and demanding, and it is the book that won the argument.
