The Church History
Eusebius, bishop of Caesarea, gathered everything he could find about the Church's first three centuries: the apostles and their successors, the martyrs, the heresies and the books of the New Testament, up to the peace under Constantine.
Eusebius is not counted among the saints, and he leaned toward the Arians at times, but without his history we would know far less about the early Church.
