St. John Chrysostom's sermons on the Fourth Gospel, preached in Antioch. He spends many of them on the opening verses, “In the beginning was the Word,” and defends the full divinity of Christ against the Arians of his day.

They are shorter than his sermons on Matthew and full of the same practical care.
