Letters on the Arian Heresy
St. Alexander of Alexandria · c. 320
Arius was a priest of Alexandria. His archbishop, St. Alexander, wrote these letters to warn the other churches about his teaching, and to explain why he had put him out of communion.
St. Alexander brought his young deacon Athanasius with him to the Council of Nicaea.
