The Life of Constantine
Sts. Constantine and Helena · image, public domain
Eusebius knew St. Constantine and wrote this life soon after his death: the vision of the Cross, the end of persecution, the Council of Nicaea, the churches he built in Jerusalem and his baptism at the end of his life.
It is a book of praise more than a history, and it is our main source for much of his reign.
