Hilarion went to St. Anthony as a boy, then returned home to Gaza and lived as a hermit. So many people came to him for healing that he spent his old age fleeing from fame, to Egypt, Sicily, Dalmatia and finally Cyprus.

It is a lively story, full of miracles and travel.
