St. Ambrose's brother Satyrus, who had looked after the family's affairs so Ambrose could serve the Church, died suddenly. At the funeral Ambrose let his grief show, and a week later he preached a second sermon on the hope of the resurrection.

It is a good book for anyone grieving, written by a saint who grieved too.
