Papa-Nicholas Planas was a village priest’s son from Naxos who served a tiny chapel in Athens for fifty years. He served the Liturgy every day and all-night vigils, attended by writers like Papadiamantis. He had nothing and gave away everything, and he was known for his kindness and simplicity.
